Powder Coating

Some of the parts come from Vans with a powder coating on them which is a good durable coating but they may be the wrong color for your particular airplane. We wanted the rudder peddles and control sticks to be black.

To cure the powder coating you need an oven but the size of a houshold oven is to small to cure large pieces like the rudder peddle tubes so we built an oven.

The finished part in the pictures is one of the control sticks laying on the rear floor of the cockpit.
