Electric heat control

I have been toying with the idea of using an electric servo to control the heat dampers instead of the old school push/pull cable system.

Today I drew up a cad drawing for the servo bracket. Using this I printed it and then transfered that onto the sheet of aluminum and used the lines for bending.  Worked pretty well but like always the 2nd one turned out better than the first.

Fuse/Tail

Insulation

Vans do not provide any form of insulation for sound deadening or for keeping it nice and cozy inside.

The floor pans were removed so that we could insulate under them.

Finally!!!!!! The Fuselage and Wing kits showed up

The Kits finally showed up on a once in 10 year snow event here in Mississippi.  We had to unload the kits at the road and bring them in the driveway with a smaller trailer.  COLD DAY!

Air Conditioner Compressor Mount

I needed to fabricate a bracket to mount the compressor for the A/C.  I plan to use flightlines 24V all electric system and they recomended that the compressor be mounted to something other than the deck that holds the condensor and evaporator units.  More on this when we get to that point.

Finishing up the tail kits.

This is the Magnitrometer mount that we fabricated for the Dynon EFIS
